Our hospital has the equipment necessary to perform a complete blood count (CBC) and blood chemistry analysis on site. Prior to any surgery or dental cleaning, a blood sample is obtained to screen for anemia, infection, liver and kidney function, as well as electrolyte status.

This helps us tailor the anesthesia to the individual patient and determine if they are healthy to undergo elective procedures.Our equipment also enables us to quickly obtain results on our sick patients to aid in diagnosis and response to treatment.

A local laboratory is also available to run specialized tests and additional bloodwork as well as cultures, cytology, and histopathologic samples.
